Diane resides in Philadelphia with her family and draws inspiration from the city’s vibrant streets, museums, local artisans, historic architecture, and abundant green spaces. She also spends her weekends at the Delaware shore, walking the beach with her husband and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the coast.

With 15 years of experience in client-facing roles, Alix is known for building strong relationships and bringing organization and clarity to fast-moving creative work. She brings a rare blend of strategic insight and operational rigor — skilled at translating brand voice and project goals into engaging social media content, while keeping projects organized and on track behind the scenes.
Alix manages the studio's social media presence, crafting content that showcases the design team's work and connects with clients and followers alike. She also plays a key role in organizing and tracking projects from concept to completion, working closely with the design team to ensure every detail comes together seamlessly and every deadline is met.
Beyond her work supporting the studio, Alix lives in Philadelphia with her family, where she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time in nature — passions that inform her eye for beauty, detail, and creating spaces (and content) that feel warm and inviting.

Adam Stein
Adam Stein brings a rare dual perspective to Diane Stein Design: the precision of an engineer and the eye of a designer. With a formal background in electrical engineering, Adam approaches every project with a systems-level understanding of how spaces actually work, not just how they look. That technical foundation shows up most visibly in his renderings, where structural logic and design intent come together long before a single piece of furniture is placed or a wall is built.
It's this same engineering discipline that fuels his creative process. Adam treats rendering not as a technical afterthought but as a design tool in its own right, a way to test light, materiality, and spatial flow with the same rigor he'd apply to any engineered system. The result is a workflow where form and function are considered simultaneously, giving clients a clear, accurate picture of their space well before construction begins.
At the heart of Adam's design philosophy is a deep pull toward the outdoors. He believes the best interiors don't shut nature out, they draw it in, through light, texture, and material choices that echo the natural world.
